GRIDSERVE

She’s Electric

Can we be electric too?

When GRIDSERVE briefed us to launch its new Electric Forecourt at the iconic Knebworth Estate, where some of the world’s most famous musicians have played, there was only one thing for it.

Strategically, we needed to show people the power of electric cars and how quickly they can now charge, and with the cultural context of millions missing out on Oasis tickets, we recreated the band’s iconic Knebworth 1886 gig with a twist – the whole thing was powered by EVs.

And as Oasis were a little busy, we partnered with the next best thing – tribute act Supernova!

Attendees were given a tour of the state of the art charging facility, which has over 30 electric charging bays, including 24 High Power bays capable of adding 100 miles of charge in under five minutes, combatting the stereotypes around EVs and charging times.

ITV were among the broadcasters to cover the unique gig, with headlines rolling in across the MirrorExpressSun and many more.
