New leadership lineup at Third City

Third City has promoted Kate Mallett to Head of Fintech and Suzie Barrett to sole MD, following the departure of joint MD, Chris Blackwood.

Chris leaves after 12 years at the agency to join Third City client,  the Association of British Insurers.  

Kate will head up the agency’s fintech practice which includes Starling Bank, Vanquis, Credit Karma and TransUnion.

Prior to joining Third City, Kate Mallett was associate director at Four Communications and headed up accounts including American Express, Sainsbury’s Bank, HSBC and UK Research & Innovation.   

Third City’s MD, Suzie Barrett said: “It’s an exciting time for Third City and I’m thrilled to be working with the founders to lead the agency into its next phase of growth.

Not-for-profit clients include Royal Voluntary Service, The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, Be The Business, The Real Junk Food Project and The Donkey Sanctuary.
