RED Driver Training appoints Third City as PR agency
RED Driver Training has appointed Third City as its retained PR and social agency, following a competitive pitch.
As the UK’s leading training business, RED trains more than 100,000 learners every year to pass the practical driving test.
Its acquisition of Splink Industries earlier this year, which created the James May Theory App, forms part of the digital transformation of RED Driver Training and will help the estimated 2.4 million theory test applicants each year.
Through its Corporate Driver Training division, RED also has a sizable share of the B2B driver training sector delivering lifelong learning for at-work drivers.
The programme will focus on brand-building and cementing RED’s position as a leading Driver Education provider, offering added-value for both its customers and investors, and helping all drivers, from beginners to professional instructors stay safe on the UK’s roads.
Colin Paterson, RED Driver Training’s Head of Marketing said:
“We’re delighted to be working with Third City as we embark on our next phase of growth. Their understanding of forward-thinking companies, combined with strong sector experience and creativity, really stood out.”
Third City Managing Director, Suzie Barrett, added:
“This exciting brief plays to our strength as an agency, marrying our expertise in education, automotive, corporate positioning and brand building.”
