We helped Olympic sprinter hopeful to secure the £30K sponsorship needed to commit to full-time training.
Our novel idea involved putting James’ sponsorship up for auction on eBay. As well as drawing media attention to his plight it allowed us to put a time limit on bids and promote rivalry between potential sponsors. Media interest at our photo-call at Crystal Palace Stadium was huge, with TV crews from across the globe attending. The campaign was seeded across social media, creating online discussion and buzz.
Leading men’s grooming brand, King of Shaves stepped forward as James’ headline sponsor, providing us with another opportunity for exposure.
