Money Advice Service picks Third City

We’re very happy to report that Third City is now working with Money Advice Service, the independent service set up by Government to help change the way people handle their money

The three-year contract will see us working with Money Advice Service to encourage consumers to change their financial behaviours, reduce levels of indebtedness and ultimately improve financial capability across the UK.


One of the major things we’ll be looking at is how we can all overcome the hurdles to good money management, tackling the behaviours that can lead to our personal and family finances spiralling out of control. The task is to trigger people to stop, think and take action by establishing a strong link between financial planning and its positive results.

John Penberthy-Smith, Customer Director for the Money Advice Service, commented on the appointment: “It is important for people across the UK to be aware of money matters to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to reach their financial goals. Communication activity and awareness campaigns play a large role in this and we are pleased to be working with Third City to take on the challenge.”
